What data is processed

When you visit this website, the web server automatically records standard access-log information for the purpose of operating and securing the service. This includes:

• your IP address,
• the date and time of the request,
• the page or file requested,
• the HTTP status and amount of data transferred,
• the referring page (if sent by your browser), and
• your browser and operating system identifier (user agent).

Purpose and legal basis

This data is processed to deliver the website, ensure its stability, and detect and prevent abuse or attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and functional website under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Providing this data is technical and automatic; no separate consent is required, and no cookies are set.

Retention

Access logs are automatically rotated and deleted after 14 days, unless a specific entry is required beyond that period to investigate a concrete security incident.

Recipients and hosting

The website runs on a server that processes the access logs described above. The data is not sold or shared for marketing purposes. The site links to external profiles (GitHub, LinkedIn); if you follow those links, the respective provider’s own privacy policy applies.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and to object to processing of your personal data. You may exercise these rights using the contact email above.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Austria this is the Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde), dsb.gv.at.
